German embassy reps visit Azerbaijan Space Agency

Deputy Head of Mission of Germany's embassy to Azerbaijan Heiko Schwarz and representatives of the embassy have visited the Main Satellite Ground Control Centre of the Azerbaijan Space Agency Azercosmos under the Azerbaijani Digital Development and Transport Ministry.
During the meeting, the guests were informed about the activity of Azercosmos, Azerbaijan's satellite projects and the further development plans, Report informs referring to the ministry.
The views on cooperation with German companies for the development of the space industry in Azerbaijan were exchanged at the meeting.
The sides discussed the development of educational programs for the training of space specialists, including the possibility of joint scientific research.
During the meeting, the guests were also informed about the preparatory work for the 74th International Astronautical Congress, which will be held in Baku in 2023.
