Turkish intelligence operation in Syria nets 19 ISIS terrorists

    Through the efforts of the Turkish National Intelligence Organisation (MIT), operations have been carried out in the Euphrates Shield and the Source of Peace zone in northern Syria against ISIS.

    Some  19 members of the group were apprehended, one was killed, and a large number of explosives, weapons, and ammunition were seized as a result of the operation, TRT Haber reports.

    It turned out that the terrorist organisation ISIS has created a special cell in Syria to conduct actions against Turkish institutions, primarily against the personnel of the Turkish Armed Forces.
