November 8 marks Victory Day
We don't want someone else's, but we won't give ours to anyone else either

Victory... For me personally, this word is in second place after the word "mother" in terms of the sweetness of sound and perception. And “guilty” of this is November 8, 2020, the date when, we, the Azerbaijani citizens, were officially informed about what we had been waiting for almost thirty years - Shusha became ours again. Our sons created history and gave the word "Victory" a new, very tender and warm sound for our ears and hearts.

Those who haven't gone through it, those who haven't waited 28 years can't understand us, can't feel it. But so many of us could not wait for this day, so many Shusha and Karabakh people could not witness it, leaving this world without a sense of victory, and so many heroes died to gain it for us...

It was difficult for almost thirty years to celebrate only local successes like "an Azerbaijani athlete defeated an Armenian" or "Azerbaijan is ahead of Armenia in terms of economic development.

It was unbearable to see the beauties of Karabakh only on YouTube or on Armenian websites. It was humiliating to communicate with Armenians in the status of defeated, despite numerous, but, again, only local victories over them. But, not in vain they say - no one can consider himself truly defeated until he has lost courage. And we too, who have lost land, shelter, health, and some even faith, from generation to generation over these thirty years have not lost only one thing - courage. And even when the President of the country, Ilham Aliyev, said from year to year that we would certainly return Karabakh, there were some people who no longer believed in it. But it was him, President Aliyev, who really knew what had to be done and when. And he was on his way to it; he was leading us to it. And he did it! He did it because, unlike some people, he didn't lose faith.

The Azerbaijani President made it possible for us to visit Shusha, Hadrut, Lachin, Fuzuli, Aghdam, Zangilan, Gubadli and Jabrayil – the places that we could not even imagine in our most optimistic fantasies! And that now even the most inveterate pessimists believe that the day when we will return to Khankandi and Khojaly, Agdara and Askaran is not far off. And this was accomplished thanks to the courage of the participants in the 44-day war, which was crowned with our unconditional VICTORY! The victory, on which for two years already the mankurts settled abroad, trying somehow to realize themselves and political corpses eating grants for three decades, are trying to cast a shadow.

However, neither they nor our other enemies are able to defeat us, or even injure us with their stinking "pricks”. After all, firstly - the wounds of winners do not hurt, and secondly - they heal faster. We won the second Karabakh war - that's without any doubt. And neither the neighbours nor anyone else managed to prevent us from trying to do what they pulled us away from and what we were not allowed to do all these almost three decades - to return what was taken from us with the help of these same neighbours.

As our president says, we don't need someone else's. But we will not give ours to anyone! And those who doubt it can once again feel the power of the "Iron Fist"! The fist that brought us together since triumph comes from cooperation. The Fist, which has enabled us finally to have sweet dreams, after all, winners tend to sleep better than vanquished. But the enemy cannot experience this feeling for two years now - I am sure that since November 8, 2020, they can no longer sleep as before...
