Armenia’s Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, met with several members of the German government on November 29 during his visit to Berlin.

As Caliber.Az reports citing various Armenian media outlets, he met with the German Chancellor’s Foreign Policy Advisor, Jens Plötner, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office Tobias Lindner and the Political Director for East European, Caucasus and Central Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Matthias Lüttenberg.

According to a press release by the Council’s office, the secretary also had meetings with the Foreign Relations Committee of the German Bundestag.

Grigoryan welcomed the decision made by the German government to include Armenia in the reform strategy until 2030 of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

As the release stated, conversations were held on a number of issues related to Armenian-German bilateral relations and the international and regional security situation
