Azerbaijan lifts some quarantine regime restrictions

    Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has lifted some quarantine regime restrictions.

    "From 06:00 on March 28, 2023, entry and exit of all citizens of foreign states and citizens of other states permanently residing in these countries, as well as stateless persons to the Republic of Azerbaijan by air is allowed," Caliber.Az reports, citing the cabinet.

    Under the "additional measures to eliminate certain restrictions in a special quarantine regime", COVID-19 passport requirement (document confirming full vaccination against COVID-19 or recovery from COVID-19 and immunity) is not required in the following cases:

    - upon entry into the Republic of Azerbaijan of citizens of foreign states and citizens of other states permanently residing in these countries, as well as stateless persons;

    - when visiting certain places (places of celebrations, sports and health facilities, large shopping centres, catering facilities, hotels, intercity (inter-district) transport routes and other places where such a requirement is established, the Cabinet of Ministers said.
