Starlink in Azerbaijan: "first come, first served"

Those wishing to use the satellite services of Starlink, owned by the American company SpaceX, in Azerbaijan will have to pay $9 (15.3 manats) for a pre-order.

Report citing a source in the telecommunications market says that Starlink aims to provide services in Azerbaijan from 2023. The agency noted that the start of work depends on the approval of the regulator, and said it will provide services on a "first come-first served" principle.

On May 9, Azercosmos agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and SpaceX signed an agreement on the provision of Internet services by Starlink in Azerbaijan.
