Erdogan’s inauguration ceremony to host representatives from 80 countries

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's inauguration ceremony on June 3 at the presidential complex in Ankara will be attended by 21 heads of state and 13 prime ministers, as well as many ministers and representatives of international organisations, including the Organisation of Turkish States, NATO and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

President Erdogan, who won the presidential election with 27 million 834,589 votes, will take part in the swearing-in ceremony at Türkiye's Grand National Assembly (TGNA) on June 3, Anadolu reported.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will take the oath of office at Turkey's Grand National Assembly at 14:00. Erdogan will receive his mandate from the interim speaker of Türkiye's Grand National Assembly, Devlet Bahceli.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba, Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoko Embalo, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Montenegrin President Yakov Milatovic, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, Congo President Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, President of TRNC Ersin Tatar, President of Northern Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Rwanda Paul Kagame, President of Senegal Maki Sall, President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud of Somalia, President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé of Togo, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov of Turkmenistan, President Mohammad Shahabuddin Chuppu of Bangladesh and President Mamadi Dumbuya of Guinea will participate in the ceremony.

The list of honoured guests includes 13 prime ministers, including Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh.

Representatives of 8 international organisations, including Secretary General of the Organisation of Turkic States Kubanichbek Omuraliev, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, and Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Hussein Ibrahim Taha will also attend the ceremony.

Twelve countries will be represented at the level of parliamentary speakers, including Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Russian State Duma, and Ding Zhongli, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

The ceremony will be attended by former German President Christian Wulff, former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, former TRNC President Dervis Eroglu, former Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidential Council member Bakir Izetbegović and former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt.

After the inauguration ceremony, the Turkish president will unveil the new cabinet.
