Armenia shells Azerbaijani positions

    Starting from 11:40 hours to 16:50 hours on June 6, using small arms, units of the Armenian armed forces fired at Azerbaijani positions.

    This way, units of the Armenian forces stationed in the directions of Karaiman settlement of Basarkechar region shelled positions of the Azerbaijani army in Astaf settlement of Dashkasan District, Caliber.Az reports per Defence Ministry.

    Besides, around 16:25, members of illegal Armenian armed groups in the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed, fired at positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Agdam district.

    The Azerbaijan Army Units took adequate retaliatory measures.

    Members of the illegal Armenian armed formations also attempted to erect long-term fortifications in front of the Azerbaijani army's positions in the directions of Shusha, Khojavand and Agdam districts.

    As a result of urgent measures taken by units of the Azerbaijani army, the works were immediately suspended.
