Azerbaijan continues to clear Khankendi of Armenian weapons

In ongoing efforts to ensure peace and security in the region, Azerbaijani law enforcement officers have made significant strides in uncovering and seizing a cache of weapons and ammunition in the city of Khankendi.

The latest discovery includes a significant number of weapons.  A machine gun, a pistol, a grenade, 14 ammunition magazines, 950 rounds of ammunition of various calibres, a bayonet knife and other ammunition were found and seized, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry told Caliber.Az.

These findings underscore the commitment of authorities to thoroughly comb through areas previously occupied by Armenian forces and rid them of any potential threats to civilian safety and regional stability.

The continued clearance of weapons from Khankendi reflects ongoing efforts by Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies to enforce peace and security in the liberated territories, allowing residents to resume their daily lives without the spectre of violence or conflict.
