Germany affirms readiness to support Azerbaijan at COP29

German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock has affirmed her country’s readiness to support Azerbaijan at COP29.
"I am glad that this year COP29 will be held in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan can rest assured of Germany's support for this event," Baerbock told a briefing jointly held with Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology, COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev, AZERTAC reports.
The 2024 Baku Climate Change Conference, or COP 29, is an international conference organized by the United Nations that will take place from November 11 to 22, 2024 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
It will be the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP), and will bring together the signatory countries of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
