Israeli drone strike eliminates Hezbollah commander near Lebanese border

In a targeted operation near the Lebanese border, an Israeli Air Force unmanned aerial vehicle successfully struck a motorcycle carrying a senior member of the Shiite militia Hezbollah.

Reports from Lebanon 24 news portal confirm that the strike resulted in the death of Ahmed Alauddin, a prominent field commander responsible for overseeing defense operations in the eastern sector of Lebanon's southern region.

Ahmed Alauddin, who was traveling from the village of Sukh Mour towards the border area, fell victim to the precision strike by the IDF drone. The operation, which took place amid escalating tensions in the region, marks a significant development in the ongoing conflict dynamics between Israel and Hezbollah.

Israeli military officials have not officially commented on the operation, adhering to their policy of neither confirming nor denying specific military actions. However, sources from within Lebanon's security apparatus have corroborated the incident, identifying Ahmed Alauddin as a key figure within Hezbollah's military structure.
