Ukrainian forces advance in Kharkiv
Stabilize front lines amid Russian setbacks

The Ukrainian military has made significant advancements in the north of the Kharkiv Region, particularly in the central part of Volchansk, according to a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

These developments were confirmed by the commander of an unmanned battalion operating in the Kharkiv direction, Caliber.Az reports.

The commander noted that the situation in the northern Kharkiv region has stabilized, and Russian troops have not achieved any substantial progress since June 12.

"The Russian Federation in this direction relies on poorly manned assault units and regular troops. The Russian Armed Forces are rapidly replenishing their losses in the area.

Additionally, the Russians are attempting to remotely mine the territory in this direction," the military officer described.

The ISW report also commented on claims that Russian troops might have lost nearly the entire 83rd Airborne Brigade in the Kharkiv direction, attributed in part to personnel refusals to fight. Analysts from ISW believe this claim is exaggerated, citing a lack of evidence. On June 11, ISW recorded a report indicating that units of the Russian 83rd Brigade were operating near Chasiv Yar.

"The brigade likely suffered significant losses, rendering it unfit for combat, but it is unlikely that these losses led to its complete destruction," the ISW report noted.
