Israeli Foreign Minister announces plans to strengthen ties with Azerbaijan

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has announced plans to further strengthen ties with Azerbaijan.
The statement followed a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, during which the two diplomats discussed developments in the Middle East and other pertinent issues, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
Katz shared details of the conversation on his official X account, expressing gratitude for the close and friendly relations between Israel and Azerbaijan.
"I spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov about regional developments in the Middle East and other topics. I thanked him for the close and friendly relationship between our two countries,” Katz posted.
Highlighting the robust and enduring nature of the bilateral relations, Katz added: "The ties between Israel and Azerbaijan are strong, and we are planning to further expand them".
