US to provide Ukraine with $150 million in additional military aid

President Joe Biden has directed Secretary of State Antony Blinken to allocate an additional $150 million in security assistance to Ukraine, Caliber.Az reports citing the White House's spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre's statement at a press briefing.
These funds are designated for defence goods and services for Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, as well as for military training. Biden also requested an assessment on the allocation of up to $12 million in aid to Ukraine, regardless of legislative provisions, based on US security interests.
The announcement follows the Pentagon's recent commitment to deliver over $2.3 billion in additional military aid to Ukraine, including Patriot surface-to-air missiles, on an expedited basis.
