Belarus backs China's peace initiative for Ukraine conflict, Lukashenko tells Xi Jinping

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed support for China's initiative to resolve the conflict in Ukraine during a meeting with President Xi Jinping at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Astana.
Lukashenko emphasized Belarus's backing of all Chinese initiatives, particularly the peace proposal for Ukraine, which aligns with Brazil's approach, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
China's 12-point peace plan, presented last February, calls for a ceasefire, cessation of hostilities, and the resumption of dialogue between Russia and Ukraine to prevent escalation.
