Azerbaijani-Armenian meeting on border delimitation kicks off
Brussels agreements in practice

The first meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan on the creation of a commission on the delimitation of borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia took place at the Armenian-Azerbaijani interstate border on May 24.

The meeting was held as part of the implementation of the agreements reached and based on the relevant orders of the two countries, Caliber.Az quotes the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry as saying.

Mustafayev and Grigoryan reportedly confirmed their readiness to work within the framework of the Commission on delimitation and other issues,

Organizational and procedural issues of joint activities of the commission were discussed at the meeting.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on the advisability of holding regular meetings of the commission in various places, as well as meetings at the interstate border.

Thus, an agreement was reached to hold a second meeting in Moscow, and the third one in Brussels.
