YASHAT continues sending war veterans to Türkiye for treatment

YASHAT has so far sent 176 people to Türkiye for treatment, of whom 171 are seriously wounded and 5 are members of martyrs' families.
Elvin Huseynov, head of the YASHAT Foundation and a veteran of the Karabakh war made the announcement, Report says.
According to him, 148 people who received treatment returned home:
"At present, 26 severely wounded and 2 martyrs' family members are being treated in Türkiye. A total of 9,390 appeals have been fulfilled over the past period, including 4,907 appeals of martyrs' family members and 4,483 appeals of the wounded on payment of treatment costs and psychological support."
He noted that doctors invited from Türkiye have examined more than 150 wounded with the support of the Fund: "Last year 8 specialists specializing in the treatment of military injuries arrived from Israel, who examined 148 people with visual impairments. According to the results of the examination, 30 people were operated on, and vision was restored in 2 people. Fifty-five individuals have received prosthetic eyes, and 82 were simply examined.
In addition, to accelerate the physical rehabilitation of the wounded who have received serious injuries, the foundation brought to the country orthopedic devices RGO in the amount of 38,999 manats. The equipment was used for the treatment of 8 wounded. Rehabilitation device Giger MD worth 47,200 manats was also purchased."
