OIC tourism ministers meet in Azerbaijani capital

A meeting of high-ranking officials is being held in Baku on June 27 as part of the 11th Conference of Tourism Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation member countries.
The meeting of the organization's tourism ministers, which will be held on June 28, will determine the date and location of the next conference, as well as candidates for the OIC Tourist City Award in 2023-2024, the draft final resolution of the conference, and the Baku Declaration, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani State Agency for Tourism.
More than 160 representatives from 39 countries are attending the conference, which is organised by the State Agency for Tourism, including OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha, ministers and deputy ministers of tourism from the organisation's member countries, ambassadors, representatives of institutions subordinate to the OIC, government officials, and experts.
The participants of the conference are scheduled to visit Shusha on June 29.
