Armenia, UN discuss peace agreement with Azerbaijan and stability in South Caucasus
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that Armenia highly values the support of the United Nations and Secretary-General António Guterres in efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
Pashinyan made this statement during a meeting with Guterres in New York, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
The discussion focused on the regional situation and ongoing processes. Pashinyan also addressed the topic of a peace treaty with Azerbaijan and Armenia's initiative "Crossroads of Peace".
The UN secretary-general expressed willingness to assist in strengthening stability in the South Caucasus within his mandate.
Pashinyan is on a working visit to New York. He has already delivered a speech at the Summit of the Future during the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
