Azerbaijan can transform dozens of varieties of non-oil sector products into national brands.

This will increase the share of the non-oil sector in GDP, MP Zahid Oruj told a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis committees, Report informs.

“For instance, Türkiye is one of the world leaders in hazelnut exports. However, for many years it has been exporting it only in the form of raw materials. In this regard, export revenues do not exceed $3 billion. In comparison, the Nutella company, which uses Turkish hazelnuts in the production of its products, earns over $11 billion from exports,” he concluded.
