Azerbaijan commissions 14 HPPs in liberated territories up to now PHOTO

To date, Azerbaijan has commissioned 14 hydroelectric power stations (HPPs) in de-occupied territories.

President of Azerenerji power company Baba Rzayev told an event dedicated to Power Engineers' Day, Report informs.

Rzayev emphasized that the work is being carried out in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev to transform the territories liberated from occupation into a “green energy” zone.

He further added that the work on another three hydroelectric power stations is at the completion stage, while the construction of 9 hydroelectric power stations is continuing in parallel. Along with this, damaged stations and substations are being restored, Rzayev added.
