Azerbaijan detains 55 border violators in October

Azerbaijan's State Border Service continued measures to ensure reliable protection of the state border, and combat smuggling, illegal migration, and illicit drug trafficking during October 2022.

A total of 55 people were detained for violating the Azerbaijani state border, Caliber.Az reports citing the State Border Service press service.

Of these, 34 are Azerbaijani citizens, five are from Afghanistan, four are from Sri Lanka, three are from Nepal, two are Tajiks, two are Iranians, two are Pakistanis, one is from Palestine, one from Pakistan, and one from Syria.
