Azerbaijan hosting international workshop on military operations management

A high-level workshop on international regulations governing military operations has commenced in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku.

Organised by the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the workshop brings together senior officers from over 70 countries, Caliber.Az reports.

The workshop aims to examine international rules related to military operations, address challenges associated with the application of international humanitarian law on the modern battlefield, integrate this law into military planning, and enhance cooperation between military personnel and the ICRC.

Azerbaijani armed forces will share their experience during the event. The workshop will run until October 12.
