Azerbaijan unveils time frame for commissioning Fuzuli-Hadrut, Jabrayil-Hadrut highways
Chairman of the board of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads Saleh Mammadov has said that the Fuzuli-Hadrut and Jabrayil-Hadrut highways will be put into operation in May 2023.
Mammadov made the remarks at a briefing in the Zangilan district dedicated to the road infrastructure projects being implemented in the territories liberated from occupation and work carried out in 2022, Report informs.
The Fuzuli-Hadrut highway passes through Fuzuli and Khojavand districts liberated from occupation.
The four-lane road is 21.5 metres wide while the carriageway is 14 metres wide. The Fuzuli-Hadrut highway is connected with the Shukurbayli-Jabrayil highway.
The Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway is one of the road infrastructure projects being implemented in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions.
The road starting from the Hajigabul-Horadiz-Agband-Zangazur highway section is 39.7 kilometres long. The carriageway of the four-lane road is 14 metres.
