Azerbaijani Army transferring weapons, equipment into autumn-winter operational mode VIDEO

Training has been held in the formations, units and subdivisions of the Azerbaijani Separate Combined Arms Army on how to keep weapons and equipment in good condition, use and operate them under the instructions, and ensure proper maintenance in accordance with the season.

After the classes, scheduled seasonal maintenance of automotive and armoured vehicles, aviation and air defence equipment, communication equipment, rocket-artillery guns, small arms and ammunition began, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

As part of comprehensive measures, fuel and lubricants and filters are replaced, electrical and hydraulic systems, parts and mechanisms are inspected on a scheduled basis.

Special care is given to the running gear of tanks and combat vehicles, combat and power units, all running gear is lubricated, and engine oils are changed in season. After all activities are completed, each piece of armaments and military equipment is analyzed and the results are assessed.

Qualitative transition to the operation of equipment in the fall-winter period will allow to maintain high combat capability of units in cold weather and in conditions of difficult terrain, uninterrupted supply of personnel.
