Azerbaijani minister: New marine sectors to help export 4 GW of energy via green corridor
Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has reported on the identification of the marine sectors for the export of 4 GW of electricity through the green energy corridor.
Shahbazov made the remarks at the 5th Ministerial Meeting in the Hungarian capital Budapest, dedicated to the implementation of the “Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the Development and Transfer of Green Energy between the Governments of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Hungary and Romania,” Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.
Hungary was represented at the event by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjártó, Georgia by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, and Romania by the Minister of Energy Sebastian Burduja.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of Bulgaria, the European Commission, transmission system operators of the four countries and CESI.
