Earthquake damages historic castle in Türkiye PHOTO

A historic fortress in the Turkish province of Gaziantep, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, collapsed as a result of an earthquake on February 6.
According to Yeni Safak, part of the fortress walls collapsed. Whether it will be possible to restore it is still unknown.
During the Roman period, the castle was used for observation.
Also among the information received is that the castle has been restored many times before and took its final form with the restoration carried out in the early 2000s.
