Finalization of COP29 chairmanship agenda underway Azerbaijani official says

The development of the agenda for the Chairmanship of COP29 is nearing completion, according to statements made by Samir Nuriyev, Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration and Chairman of the COP29 Organizing Committee, during the Organizing Committee meeting.

Nuriyev highlighted significant progress in the preparation efforts, noting that the final touches are being made to the COP29 chairmanship agenda, Report informs.

He emphasized the launch of the official website for COP29 and the extensive coverage of related processes by local media. Additionally, active engagement with foreign media has been pursued, including interviews with members of the COP29 team published in influential international publications.

Moreover, Nuriyev provided insights into the country's initiatives aligned with the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World," indicating ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and global cooperation in addressing climate change.
