Foundation stone laid for Pirahmadli village of Azerbaijan's Fuzuli district

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended a ceremony of the laying of the foundation stone for the village of Pirahmadli of the Fuzuli district.

The head of state and the First Lady were informed of the works to be done in the village, Azertag reports.

The total projected area of the Pirahmadli village is 178 hectares. A total of 565 houses will be built for 2,369 people in the village. The first phase will see the construction of 280 houses.

The village will have an administrative building, hotel, cafe, restaurant, mosque, pharmacy, 480-seat secondary school, two kindergartens, a community club, library, etc.

The construction work will be completed in November 2025.

The head of state also participated in the inauguration of the Fuzuli-Hadrut highway.

The 12.3 km-long highway begins at the Zafar Road and gets connected with the newly-built Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway.

The 4-lane Fuzuli-Hadrut highway is 14 meters wide.

The motorway bridge has been built at the 6.7 km section of the highway.

The head of state was informed of the works to be done in the village.

The total projected area of the village is 314 hectares. A total of 1,050 houses will be built for 4,495 people (1,129 families) in the village. The first phase will see the construction of 327 houses for 1,373 residents.

The facilities at the village will include an administrative building, mosque, pharmacy, medical point, 840-seat secondary school, two kindergartens, a community club, library, etc.

The construction work will be completed in November, 2025.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva examined the progress of construction works carried out by the State Housing Development Agency (MIDA) in the Fuzuli residential complex.

Chairman of the Board of the State Housing Development Agency (MIDA) Sadig Sadigov informed the head of state and the First Lady of the progress of construction works.

The residential complex, which occupies a total area of 8.9 hectares, consists of 38 buildings. A total of 846 apartments comprised of 318 two-room, 430 three-room and 98 four-room will be built in the residential complex. The construction of the residential complex will be completed by the end of 2023.

They also viewed the construction works in a 960-seat school being built in Fuzuli as a gift by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on behalf of the Uzbekistani people.

The head of state and the First Lady were informed of the progress of construction works.

The construction of the two-storey school, which occupies an area of three hectares, started last year, and will end this December. The school will have 40 classrooms, six labs, two computer labs, an assembly hall, gym, canteen, library and a football pitch.
