Iranian foreign minister and EU diplomat discuss nuclear deal talks

 Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell discussed by phone the current situation in the negotiations on the resumption of the nuclear deal. This was announced on Saturday by the press service of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, TASS informs.

“Three European countries, Russia and China are ready to conclude an agreement,” she quotes the Iranian minister as saying. "The US government must step up and correct the past misguided policies of the White House." The head of the Foreign Ministry noted that "at the moment, the diplomatic solution is working well."

In Vienna, after eight rounds of negotiations to restore the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program in its original form and return the United States to this multilateral agreement on March 11, a break was taken due to external factors. Prior to this, the Vienna negotiations reached the finish line and were supposed to be completed before the end of February. The text of the agreements was agreed upon and consists of about 20 pages, it refers to further measures to return to the implementation of the nuclear agreement in its original form.
