Israeli airstrikes on Gaza kill 23, leave several injured
Airstrikes by Israeli occupation forces targeting multiple locations across the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of 23 civilians, with several others left wounded.
Local sources reported that ten of the fatalities occurred when an Israeli aircraft bombed a house in the Ma'an area, situated to the east of Khan Yunis Governorate, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Additionally, a man and his wife lost their lives in a bombing that struck a residential flat near the Ain Jalut Towers, located south of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Al-Munirawi, a young man, was also killed in an attack on his family’s home in Deir al-Balah, also in central Gaza.
The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggressive military actions in Gaza by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023.
According to recent reports, this ongoing assault has claimed the lives of 45,338 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, while over 107,764 others have been injured.
Meanwhile, US-created food crisis monitor, says a famine is unfolding in northern Gaza amid Israel’s near-total blockade on food supplies. It also warns that deaths from starvation could surpass famine levels as soon as next month.
