Kyiv: Ukraine thwarts Russian army's plans to attack major frontlines
Ukrainian Armed Forces have once again destroyed the offensive plans of the Russian army in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions over the past 24 hours.
"In the past 24 hours, thanks to the courage of each soldier, more than 50 enemy attacks in the specified directions were repelled," RBC-Ukraine quotes the Ukrainian General Staff as saying on Facebook.
The Defence Forces' aircraft carried out 12 strikes on the areas where Russian army personnel and military equipment were concentrated during the day. They also shot down two Supercam UAVs, six Orlan-10 UAVs and six Zala UAVs.
Rocket and artillery units struck two areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, one ammunition depot, one air defence position and five enemy electronic warfare stations.
