Russia claims destruction of 259 Ukrainian drones

Over the past 24 hours, Russian air defence systems have successfully destroyed 259 drones belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, along with 12 guided bombs, according to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defence.

The ministry said that Russian forces also targeted key industrial, energy, and transportation infrastructure in Ukraine that is used by Ukrainian military units, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media. 

In addition, Russian forces reportedly hit 152 locations, where Ukrainian storage depots for unmanned boats and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were located.

The attack was carried out using a combination of tactical aviation, strike drones, missile forces, and artillery.
