Russian peacekeepers serve interests of separatist regime Azerbaijani author reports on inactivity of contingent

Unfortunately, at the moment we witness how the Russian peacekeeping contingent serves the interests of the separatist puppet regime instead of fulfilling its own functions.

Author Gan Turali (Jafarov) has written to Report on this, who has participated in the protests against the ecological terror conducted in the territories where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily stationed in the Karabakh Economic Zone.

"Despite the fact that these territories belong to Azerbaijan, we are prohibited from applying the country's jurisdiction. And this is caused by the inaction of the Russian contingent. And we, being activists, express our protest against this and demand that the interests of the Azerbaijani people and state are ensured", he said.

Turali also pointed to the words of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, in which he stated that Armenians residing in the Karabakh region are citizens enjoying full rights. "We have to encourage forms of dialogue with them. In this regard, the Azerbaijani side as well as the Armenian side show readiness for dialogue. However, third parties attempt to hinder this by all means", he noted.
