Turkey bans export of butter to all countries except Azerbaijan

The General Directorate of Food and Control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey has imposed a ban on the export of butter to all countries except Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan.

Report informs about this with reference to foreign media.

It is noted that the decision was made to prevent a shortage of butter in the country and maintain a balance of supply and demand.

Turkey exported butter worth $34 million, in the first quarter of this year.
