Turkish forces neutralize over 1,800 terrorists in 2024 operations so far – Spokesperson VIDEO

Over the past two weeks, the Turkish army has neutralised 40 terrorists, including in Iraq and northern Syria. 

“The number of terrorists neutralised since January 1, 2024, has reached 1,868,” Caliber.Az quotes National Defense Ministry Spokesperson Zeki Aktürk's message on X.

Additionally, a PKK terrorist who fled from their hideouts in northern Iraq has surrendered at the border post in Habur.

Accorging to Aktürk, as a result of an air operation conducted on September 2 against terrorist targets in Metina, Zap, Gara, Hakurk, Kandil, and Asos in northern Iraq, 20 targets, including caves, hideouts, shelters, storage facilities, and sites used by the separatist organisation, were destroyed. “During the air operation, many terrorists were killed using predominantly domestic and national munitions. The impact assessment of the targets is ongoing," Aktürk noted.
