Turkish STM designs military boat for Azerbaijan

The Turkish STM Defence Technologies Empowered by Social Innovation company (Savunma Teknolojileri Muhendislik ve Ticaret AS) has designed the STM-MPAC military boat for the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

STM showcased its products at the 4th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition (ADEX-2022) in Baku, Anadolu Agency reports.

Moreover, STM has produced the STM500 small submarine, the MILGEM frigate, the TOGAN and KARGU quadrocopters, and the ALPAGU kamikaze UAV.

Thus, the company showcased the STM-MPAC military boat designed for the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

STM CEO Ozgur Guleryuz told reporters that he was glad to be in the fraternal country.

He noted that the company’s representatives will speak about the characteristics and advantages of the products, in particular, KARGU, ALPAGU and TOGAN UAVs, at the ADEX-2022 exhibition.

Guleryuz also said that the STM500 small-sized national submarine was showcased at the ADEX-2022 exhibition for the first time.

The submarine, designed by Turkish engineers, has been prepared for mass production, he said.

Guleryuz added that STM is closely cooperating with Azerbaijan and has designed the STM-MPAC military boat for the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

“We have developed a military boat in accordance with the needs of our Azerbaijani colleagues. The military boat is completely made in accordance with their requirements,” he said.
