Türkiye discharges over 12,000 earthquake survivors from hospitals in Istanbul

Some 12,538 earthquake survivors have been discharged from hospitals in Türkiye’s Istanbul city, while 1,186 earthquake survivors are undergoing medical treatment.

The injured from the earthquake zone were transported to Istanbul by military transport aircraft of the Turkish Armed Forces and ambulance aircraft of the Health Ministry, according to Anadolu Agency.

They were transported from the airport to private and public hospitals, as well as medical institutions under universities.

In general, 13,724 injured have been transported to Istanbul for medical treatment since February 6.
