Türkiye launches next stage of anti-terror operation Eren Abluka

The twenty-second stage of the anti-terror operation Eren Abluka has begun in the province of Van in eastern Türkiye.

On July 19, 530 law enforcement officers, including the gendarmerie, divided into 45 groups, joined the operation, Anadolu Agency quotes the Turkish Interior Ministry as saying.

The purpose of the operation is to fight the terror organisation of the PKK and the complete eradication of terrorism in Türkiye.

The twenty-second stage of the operation will take place in the town of Kato-Karatash Chukurlary of the Chatak region.
