Türkiye test fires air-to-air missile of domestic production

Test firing of the BOZDOĞAN air-to-air missile continues successfully in Türkiye.

The announcement came from the Ministry of National Defence of Türkiye on Twitter on November 10, according to Caliber.Az.

Ankara has taken important steps in the development of weapons and ammunition, on exports of which it has been dependent for many years. One of them is the domestic short-range missile BOZDOĞAN.

Air-to-air missiles can only be produced by eight countries in the world. Turkey has achieved an important military capability with the BOZDOĞAN missile of domestic production.

BOZDOĞAN, produced as a domestic short-range missile for the F-16 fighter jets, is expected to enter service at the end of this year.
