UN delegation revers martyrs’ memory in Azerbaijan

The delegation of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) headed by President of the General Assembly Abdulla Shahid is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

The delegation visited the Alley of Martyrs on June 13. The delegation headed by Abdulla Shahid revered the memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who died for Azerbaijan’s freedom and sovereignty and laid flowers on their graves. A wreath was also laid at the Eternal Flame monument, according to Report.

Guests from Baku’s highest point admired the panorama of the capital of Azerbaijan. They were informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the beautification work in the city.
