US to hand over multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine

The US Deputy Secretary of Defence for Political Affairs Colin Cole has said that his country will send additional multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) to Ukraine.

The four units of MLRS previously announced by the United States are only the initial tranche, Kyiv-based news service UNIAN reports, citing The Washington Post.

"We are going to provide the Ukrainians with what they need to pursue their targets on the territory of Ukraine," Cole said.
