Zelenskyy's Brussels mission: Presenting "Victory Plan"
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is heading to Brussels to unveil his “Victory Plan” and engage in a series of meetings with senior Western officials.
Zelenskyy shared this information through a post on his Telegram channel, Caliber.Az reports.
"Now – on my way to Brussels.
There will be a special session of the European Council at the leaders' level. I will present the Victory Plan – our tool to compel Russia to peace. All European leaders will hear how we need to strengthen our positions. We need to end this war fairly.
I thank Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, for inviting Ukraine to participate. There will also be meetings in the European Parliament – both with President Roberta Metsola and with the leaders of political groups in the European Parliament. There will be a meeting with Mark Rutte, the NATO Secretary General. We are also preparing for a Ukraine-NATO Council meeting at the level of defence ministers.
The main thing is more protection for Ukraine now, before winter," the Ukrainian leader wrote.
In his message, he also mentioned that the Biden administration has allocated $425 million in aid to Ukraine.
On October 16, President Zelenskyy presented a 5-point plan while addressing Verkhovna Rada.
