Explosion occurs in Yerevan

    An explosion has occurred in the Surmalu shopping mall in Armenia’s capital Yerevan.

    Six crews of fire and rescue teams have already left for the scene on August 14, Russia’s Gazeta.Ru reports, citing the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

    The reason was reportedly a firework ignition.

    According to the ministry, the number of the incident’s victims is still unknown.
