Once escaped from Kalbajar, Pashinyan's henchman dreams of "liberating" Shusha
It is much safer to threaten the Iron Fist from afar

On May 8, Armenia once again indulged in shameful and ostentatious heroism. One of the "heroes" of the day was the head of the terrorist organisation "Yerkrapah" Sasun Mikaelyan, who made speeches that had nothing to do with reality, in which the Armenian army has not yet recovered from defeat, and Shusha has been liberated from the occupation for three years. But Mikaelyan, the preacher of revanchist hysteria and Pashinyan's henchman, still believes in some kind of miracle. And, judging by his statements, he intends to implement it himself by staging a new war with Azerbaijan.

The fact is that on May 8, Yerkrapah celebrates its birthday. Well, it is the right of these "fighters" who fled the battlefield in droves in the autumn of 2020. But they still celebrate "the day of the capture of Shusha" in 1992... What, one may ask, has this bloody event of more than thirty years ago brought to Armenia and its people? But, no, they found themselves such a strange reason to be proud. Have they forgotten how on November 8, 2020, the Azerbaijani army kicked all the invaders out of the ancient capital of Karabakh?

Now Sasun Mikayelyan, with the nod from his patron Nikol Pashinyan, is already in charge of a rabid nationalist organisation such as "Yerkrapah", and in his welcoming speech, he makes threats against Azerbaijan in order to make the jubilation louder. For example, this time Sasun, on the wave of jingoism, declared that "Shusha must be liberated, not in words, but in deeds". He told this to journalists at the "Yerablur" military cemetery in Yerevan. Not at all ashamed of the thousands of young Armenian soldiers buried there, killed in the war for the sake of a ghostly "miatsum".

"I would like to congratulate Sparapet (Yerkrapah founder Vazgen Sargsyan - ed.) for being able to consolidate us all in the 90s, and we won," Mikayelyan announced. Well, the "consolidation" was so successful that it ended up in all cemeteries of the country.

There's more - "I answer my questions at the front," the head of Yerkrapah stooped to declare.

Well, if Mikayelyan is really so formidable and wants to fight again, he is welcome. The Azerbaijani Army is ready to punish him again, as it happened in October 2020. Then he ended up in hospital, once again he may not be so lucky. But it will be in deeds, not in words.

Pashinyan's comrade-in-arms is clearly from another universe, and his fictional war is not over yet. Though, it seems, the real war is feared more than the Last Judgment. After all, during 44-day fights, everything was very shameful and infamous for him. He did not prove to be a hero on the battlefield - his "Sasun" unit was completely defeated. Moreover, according to the official reports, Mikaelyan was wounded in the back and legs, which is a disgrace. It seems he was one of those 11,000 Armenian deserters recently noted by Pashinyan's wife Anna Hakobyan. Apparently, he fled the battlefield with his tail between his legs, as they say.

Moreover, as it turns out, Mikayelyan really has practical experience in fleeing from the battlefield. In any case, some Armenian veterans grinningly recount the "exploits" of this "war hero," for them he is nothing but a pathetic coward and upstart. For example, according to them, in the winter of 1993, Mikayelyan shamefully fled from Kalbajar, where heavy fighting was taking place. Sarkis Karapetyan, commander of the "Talin" militant group reminded him of this. "With such a track record, how can Sasun Mikayelyan unite anyone at all?" he laughed frankly.

Incidentally, there is another scandal associated with Mikayelian, where he showed complete cynicism towards Armenian World War II veterans. For example, in May 2020, he came up with an original initiative to pay pensions to elderly veterans, stating: "It seems to me that this is not such a big tragedy. If we delay it, there won't be anyone left in May. In that case, it will be easier for us to make these payments".

So, if Mikayelyan really wants to fight for Shusha, we suggest he recollect all the past and think carefully, as such heroism can lead to a new wound in the backside. That part of his body is particularly vulnerable when fleeing the battlefield. Although, perhaps, Mikaelyan wants to feel again that incredible relief, which he felt on November 9, 2020, when he learned that Armenia capitulated and again he will not be sent to the front. In principle, he did not try after his, frankly speaking, dishonouring wound to return to the front and defend "beloved Shusha" - the brave "defender of the fatherland" spent the rest of the war in hospital.

There are many more such people in Armenia, threatening Azerbaijan, but ready to flee at once, if an Azerbaijani soldier appears on the horizon. It is much safer to threaten the Iron Fist from afar...
