Ex-separatist official accuses colleagues of provoking Azerbaijan

Former "secretary of the security council" of separatists Samvel Babayan considers the election of a Dashnak as the head of the so-called "parliament" of the illegal regime in Khankendi as erroneous.
He made the remarks in an interview with Armenian media, Caliber.Az reports.
"Today we are trying to sit at the negotiating table with Azerbaijan and at such a moment we do not consider it correct that the second person in power represents the Dashnaks. We think it is wrong and we do not agree with this decision. That is why we voted against it and we did the right thing. Time will show that we were right and whoever thinks that this is stability, they do not understand the very concept of 'stability'. What happened is completely contrary to stability, it causes tension," Babayan said.
