PM: Azerbaijani-Georgian relations built on solid foundation

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit on March 16, Azertag reports.

Speaking at the joint press conference with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Prime Minister stressed that historical bonds of friendship link Azerbaijan and Georgia.

"These relations are built on a very solid foundation,” Kobakhidze said.

Expressing confidence in the continuity of these relations, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized: "Currently, we enjoy a very good dialogue across political, economic, and other levels, with an existing positive momentum. Our intention is to deepen this cooperation and partnership.”

“The partnership and friendship between our countries are also very pivotal in the global context,” the minister added.

The Georgian Prime Minister emphasized the importance of focusing on peace initiatives, adding that Georgia strives to contribute to regional stability to the best of its abilities and will continue to do so in the future.

“We have jointly initiated several projects of strategic significance and have ambitious plans for the future,” Irakli Kobakhidze added.

“Our partnership has reached an excellent level,” he noted.

Highlighting the existing potential, the Prime Minister underlined: “We will make every effort to deepen this friendship, cooperation, and partnership.”
