Russian parliament assesses Türkiye's position on Moscow terrorist attack

The head of the Federation Council (Upper House of Russian Parliament) Commission on Information Policy and Interaction with the Media, Alexey Pushkov, has called for paying attention to the position of Türkiye, which rejected the version that any foreign intelligence services were not involved in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.

“Türkiye's opinion matters. Ankara rejects the Western version that any foreign intelligence services were not involved in the terrorist attack in the Moscow region,” Pushkov wrote in his Telegram channel, according to Gazeta.Ru.

The MP emphasized that this is an “important statement” that is in dissonance with the positions of Western countries.

Prior to this, the official representative of the ruling Justice and Development Party in Türkiye, Omer Celik, said that the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall could not have been carried out without the support of foreign intelligence.

“It is obvious that it is impossible to carry out such a professional action without the support of intelligence of any state. Such events always have paymasters,” said Celik.
