Vanuatu's coast hit by earthquake

An earthquake of 5.5 magnitude has struck the coast of Vanuatu.
It turns out that the epicenter of the tremor was located 280 km to the north-west of the town of Sola, which is home to 1,100 people, TASS reports with reference to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The quake source was located at a depth of 30 km.
There is no information about victims or destruction at this moment. No tsunami threat was declared.
