Dagestan citizens massively resist execution of mobilisation order in Russia

In Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan (Russia), a large-scale rally against mobilisation is shifting gear. Law enforcement officers are trying to disperse the protest by force, but the protesters are fighting back, according to local telegram channels, Media.Az reports.

The protesters took to the in small groups, after which they are trying to unite and completely close the central streets of the city - Yaragsky or Gamzatov. Protesters chant "No war, no mobilization".

“In connection with the protests, the security forces were pulled into the city centre. Law enforcement officers are trying to mark the protesters in the crowd or catch them in the streets and detain them. But the protesters beat off everyone they try to put into the police car,” the report says.
